Alice in Wonderland unlike ever before

A little under nine years ago, a man by the name of American McGee released a nightmarish twist of the classic Alice in Wonderland fairytale that would change the way people looked at little Alice forevermore. Nine years later, Electronic Arts has announced that it plans to bring Alice out of hibernation and back to that so-called Wonderland once again. As if the company eyeing a 2009 release date isn't good enough, Alice's new misadventure will be multiplatform to boot.
Below we've included the trailer which was first used to market the original Alice back in 2000. On top of that, we've also thrown in some concept art for the game. It goes without saying that you can expect this adventure to feature upgraded visuals and, more than likely, a better game engine.

This is a strange coincidence..I read the other day that there will be a new Alice in Wonderland movie staring the girl who played Shannon in LOST..this new game must be based on the movie:
It's called Malice in Wonderland..

I can't wait to play a McGee Alice game on a console, PS3 or 360. I really liked the PC game but I am not a big fan of playing a game on a PC, even with a controller it just doesn't feel the same. I know there are some people who prefer a PC version over a console version (Bioshock for example) but I am the complete opposite. This should be a fantastic game.

This is a little bit creepy, I literally JUST started re-playing American McGee's Alice on my PC about 3 or 4 days ago. I love that game. This new version looks quite similar to the original release, just with improved graphics and it seems to delve a little more into the asylum and history post her original journey into Wonderland. I can't wait :-D

This game looks wickly crazy. If I had a computer that would have ran it back in the day I would have purchased it. But as always I like to keep my mad gaming to my gaming system. The PS3. So I may have to pick this up.

So you mean it's "unlike ever before" ...except for the last time it was.
Anyway it's not like the original was perfectly kid friendly. I mean crazy people trying to cut your head off, drinking things that make you halucinate. Fairytales were originally morality lessons for frightening children into doing the right thing so unless she's running around in discriminantly blowing holes in rabbits with a shot gun it's not really so odd.
