Sony Ericsson today announced the Aino, an intuitive phone that, among other things, allows you to control your PlayStation 3 and access its media content anywhere, anytime using “Remote Play.”
The Aino will allow you to transfer, play and organize all your music, photos, videos and podcasts stored on your PS3, and control and access your media from your phone. You’ll be able to do this through a local network between your PS3 and Aino in your home, or via the Internet from anywhere in the world. European users can enjoy the PlayTV service on their phones, too.
The phone has a three-inch screen, and the usual phone features like an 8.1 megapixel camera, photo flash, a web browser, email, and more.
Look for the Aino in select markets later this year. No price has been announced at this time.
----------
UPDATE: Just to clarify, the Aino does not support remote PS3 game access at this time. Only media access has been confirmed.

The specs look insane. 8.1 megapixels, Wi-Fi, photo flash, MMS, stereo speakers, video calling.
It might cost more than the PS3 itself, but it looks very cool.

8.1 megapixel camera on a PHONE? My actual camera doesn't have that (It is 5 years old, but...)
Geez...
As for a PSP that makes calls:
1. The PSP does indeed make calls if it's the 2000 or 3000, but only if you have wireless internet access.
2. This phone won't play PSP games so, uh, not quite...

"and the usual phone features like an 8.1 megapixel camera"
haha are you joking? the "usual" standard on phones is 1.3mp, maybe 2.0. i think this is a type-o here lol

@1 Arda82: Is it me or are you hibernating within the PSU Forums just to get your coveted 1st spots? Your post had me lolling for quite some time - nice little cryptic message there to outwit all those "First!" haters. However, your follow up leads me to believe you're losing your touch... although it was quite funny, being the seasoned Arda-fan that I am - I got your recurring joke, never you mind!
I seem to be becoming quite the Arda-stalker now...

dumb, the reason I am saying it's dumb because this phone here is going to cost $800.00. The Xperia was $800 and it was a crappy phone. The price tag on this phone will indeed be $800.00 cause it's going to do what the Xperia can do plus you can use this to access your PS3 and other stuff.
$800.00, I'll bet you anything it will be $800.00. A lot of people need to also understand that megapixel does not mean how clear the picture will be taken. It means that you can blow up the image more without it getting distorted.

Hmm it doesnt like like there`s physical buttons on it, so if the device had an accelerometer built into it (like what the iphone has) then they could make some games that are similair to ones on the Iphone. This would really give appple the sh**`s.
In the UK we have quite a few phones that are 8.1 MP or more http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/mobilephones/overview/c905?lc=en&cc=gb. The phone i have at the moment (14 montsh old) is a 5mp & 120fps video camera LG Viewty but its mince. i can upgrade in August so its the iphone (09 one soon to be announced) or this phone
i found this on the UK press release http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/corporate/press/pressreleases/pressreleasedetails/key.PressResource.Aino_press_release_final-20090528. gives all the specs of the device. Sounds like its a slider to me :(
